![]() Welcome to Opportunity for AllOpportunity for All, Inc. was started to help low income and rural Kansans by training and assisting them in strating microbusinesses to supplement their existing incomes and potentially allow them to grow their enterprise into a middle class living. Our program consists of three parts. First, participants must attend a training program that will teach them the basics of business management, marketing, and record keeping while helping them develop their business idea into a written buiness plan. Participants who successfully complete the training program and write a business plan are assigned to "borrowing circles" where the group decides which members will be financed when funds are available, with the goal of eventually financing every member of the group, but only about 40% at any given time. Funds up to $2,500 will be loaned to the members selected by the group at an interest rate of 3% with monthly payments of $107.45, allowing the amortization of the maximum loan over two years and smaller loans in less time. When enough payments have been received to allow financing of the next group member in order, they will receive their loan, provided they are still active in the group. Finally, Opportunity for All, Inc. will provide business consultation services to the microbusinesses it finances. This service will be available until the firm has been in business for five years, or longer if the participant has additional loans from the group outstanding or pending. In the furure we plan to develop business incubators where participants can have a commercial location if needed as well as an on site consultant to provide incubation for the first five years in business. If you are interested in participating in our program, visit the Training Schedule page to see when we will be holding information meetings or our training course in your area. If you don't see your county listed, check back later, we eventually plan to hold information meetings and training courses in all 105 Kansas counties. If you are interested in investing in our microbusiness loan fund, we plan to offer a small bond issue when we start our first training classes, with specifics of these bonds to be published later. We are also happy to receive donations to help us provide and expand our services. Please visit our Donate to Opportunity for All or Invest in Participants' Businesses page for more information, and check back if the bond issue is of interest to you.
